S.E. “Trey” Moody, III PC
Trey was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating from Southwest High School in 1983, Trey attended the University of Texas at Austin from where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business majoring in both Finance and Marketing. While at UT, Trey pledged and became a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. After graduating from UT in 1987, he then attended Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, graduating in 1992 with a Juris Doctorate Degree.
Trey is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia, having been admitted in May of 1993. He is also a member of the Georgia Court of Appeals (1993), the Georgia Supreme Court As well as the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of the United States District Court. In addition, Trey is also a certified mediator and past Municipal Court Judge for the city of Montezuma, Georgia.
Upon graduation from law school, Trey served one year as a judicial law clerk for Houston County Superior Court Judges Buster McConnell and George Nunn. After completing his clerkship, Trey began his legal career practicing with the Perry, Georgia law firm of Walker, Hulbert, Gray, and Byrd. In 2000, he opened his own law firm in Perry, Georgia which he still owns and operates.
Throughout his career, Trey has focused his practice in the field of personal injury litigation. He has tried to jury verdict over 300 trials in the various State and Superior Courts throughout Georgia. Due to his vast experience, Trey is often sought out by other trial attorneys to advise on trial tactics and strategies.
When he is not practicing law, Trey enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys playing golf, collecting and working on vintage muscle cars, hunting and fishing. He and his wife, Tamara, split their time between Middle Georgia and their beach home on St. Simons Island, Georgia. He is a member in good standing of both Houston Lake Country Club and SeaPalms Golf Club and Resort on St. Simons, Island, Georgia.
